Although their paths as Northumberland natives had to have crossed several times throughout their childhood, the newlyweds did not official meet until high school.

A sports-crazy, class clown Nick and an academic-loving, quiet Khadijah seemed like the least likely match. But, mutual friend (and groomsman) Travell, certainly knew that polar opposites attract as he set upon his mission to have the two cross paths. Ever since, the duo has been inseparable.

Nick and Khadijah have been living their love story since 2017. In fact, their wedding day also serves as year seven of being together.

Since 2017, the couple has been through two high school and three college graduations and yearly vacations. They have adopted a fur baby named Jack and welcomed their biggest accomplishment yet, a son named Maverick, in 2023.
