Nick and Jessie grew up going to the same church camp together in Brooktondale, NY. They first recall meeting each other on the way to a youth conference in 2015 when Nick was teaching Jessie how to play “The Green Glass Door” game. After that, they became close friends and by 11th grade they were FaceTiming almost every night. Both being oblivious to the feelings they would soon have for each other. After they graduated high school, Nick professed his feelings for Jessie and she was sure they were just good friends. By the time they were in college together there was a shift. They went from saying I love you as friends, to saying I love you as partners, and soon they’ll be saying I love you as husband and wife.
