The story begins, as all great Iona College stories do, one fateful night at Beechmont Tavern after a Bagpipe Band Concert on December 3, 2022.

A simple "Hey, I like your flannel" led to a fun night of games, four lokos, and a case of mistaken identity. "Peter" asked Anna on their first date the next day. She introduced him to Noah Kahan and Hamilton and Nick bought tickets to both for the following year, knowing Anna would be around for quite some time.

At the Sack's 5th Avenue Light Show at Rockefeller Center exactly two weeks after first meeting, Nick asked Anna to be his girlfriend. Spending their last Christmas ever apart, Nick travelled to Colorado and told his sister, Brittney, he had found the one.

On New Year's Eve, 2022 Anna tricked Nick into saying he loves her, which in fact he did. United by love, respect, and some would say an unhealthy amount of sarcasm and practical jokes, Nick and Anna formed a bond that would last a lifetime.

At Untermeyer Gardens on July 27th, 2024, Nick played the ultimate prank. Instead of a fun double date with her friend, he instead knelt to the ground, pulled out a ring and surprised Anna with everyone she knew, and Nick got the last laugh...she was stuck with him for life.

We are so happy to be celebrating with everyone we hold near and dear to us. The love we've found is something we've been waiting our whole lives for, and we couldn't be more excited.
