The story begins in May 2012! Amanda and Nicholas were set up on a blind date. Before going out on this date, Amanda and Nicholas would spend many nights getting to know each other over video chat and phone calls while Nicholas was away at school. After a few weeks of getting to know each other Nicholas came home to take Amanda on their first date. About a month later Nicholas asked Amanda to be his girlfriend and the rest is history.

On May 11, 2018 Nicholas took Amanda on a date for their 6th anniversary to Moshulu, a restaurant venue on the world’s oldest and largest square, rigged sailing vessel still afloat today! After dinner they decided to walk to the park near by which was decorated with lights and hammocks. As Amanda and Nicholas walked along the water towards the park Nicholas asked Amanda to stop for a second. She questioned why they were stopping but then instantly figured it all out and she was in complete shock!! Nicholas was about to pop the question! This was the day Amanda had been waiting for and dreaming of her whole life! After taking pictures along the water Amanda and Nicholas went back on the boat for drinks and dessert. On the upper deck of the boat stood Amanda and Nicholas’ immediate family who was ready to celebrate!

Amanda and Nicholas have enjoyed many new experiences together and have formed great memories. They have traveled to Italy, Punta Cana, Cabo San Lucas, Boston, Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C, Rhode Island, and Florida together. Their plan is to continue traveling, enjoying life to the fullest. The two love traveling and spending time with friends and family. They also enjoy being a little adventurous where they occasionally camp, hike, and ski. However, Amanda is still getting used to those activities, she prefers to lay on the beach! The couple is looking forward to their wedding day on July 2, 2021! After postponing their wedding twice now, due to a global pandemic, they are ready and so excited for all of you to be a part of their special day!
