132 Days To Go!

We didn't know that swiping right on an app seven years ago would lead to us walking down the aisle and spending the rest of our lives together.

Summer 2017 is when we met for the first time after multiple attempts and reschedules. We went to see the new Spiderman movie, and Nick promptly dropped Courtney off at her house after. How great the date went depends on who you ask. If you ask Nick the date was great and he couldn't wait to see Courtney again. Courtney, however, felt like Nick really didn't like her because of how short the date was. But there was something drawing them together so to much of her surprise they continued talking and became official on 2/14/2018.

We have been on many adventures over the years from adopting a dog (Marnie) to buying a house and moving in together. We did eventually adopt another dog (Mila) just 4 months after moving in. Our greatest adventure yet was our engagement. Nick and Courtney were making moves in their careers and were starting new jobs just one week apart. Nick had booked a weekend away at a cabin on Gaylord to celebrate our new jobs. He made sure to book a cabin that allowed us to bring our dogs with us. He had planned to take "family photos" of us while we were up there (a little suspicious).

We spent the first morning sipping our coffees and taking our girls for a hike on the 100 acre property. We had picked out a few spots to take photos and headed back to the cabin. Once photo ready we headed back out to the spots we had chose. We had tied our girls off to a tree and took "couple's photos" first. After a few pics Nick told Courtney to stay in the spot so he could go get the girls for "family photos". He then let both dogs run towards Courtney off leash! He had put a bandana on Mila that says "Will You Marry Dad?" and a ring box on Marnie that says "N+C". He took the ring box off Marnie and got down on one knee. Courtney of course started crying, but very happily said YES! We got to spend the rest of the weekend sharing happy tears, talking about our future, and enjoying our first moments of being engaged.

We are so happy and excited to spend the rest of our lives together, and we want to thank you all for being a part of our journey. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

XOXO,

The Future Wagners
