Kyle and Nichole started their journey from afar beginning in 2014 - Nichole lived in Los Angeles and Kyle in San Diego. Upon a visit to Auntie Savanna in LA by Kyle and Rylynn; Nichole met up with them at the Natural History Museum for a fun afternoon outing. Little did they both know how captured with one another they'd become...

That following December; Kyle came back to LA to take part in a holiday party held by Nichole's place of work where incessant flirting pursued on both accounts! Since then, the two began exchanging phone calls and text messages daily. There was just too much good stuff here to ignore no matter the distance...or future plans. Nichole was already planning on moving to Washington state to be with her family, start a new life and get the heck outta LA. This would even further the distance between the two.

Since the plans were already in place, the move persisted. But then again, so did the learning and bonding between the couple even though they knew what was pending. Multiple conversations were held, trying to decide what to do: To Be or Not To Be (Together). That was the question. Ultimately, they both thought it would fizzle out eventually, but there was something that kept them both hanging on.

Kyle actually helped Nichole MOVE to WA, but still the couple talked on a daily basis. Things weren't lining up as Nichole had planned - all plans were falling through and she couldn't help but wonder if she'd made a different move...what would that look like?

After a few visits back and forth, even more conversations with each other and with family members; it was decided for Nichole to apply for a job in San Diego - just to see if anything would stick. First job applied for - position offered.

Exactly two months to the date that Kyle helped Nichole move up to WA, he flew up to WA only to help her move BACK DOWN to Southern CA - this time to San Diego!

It's now been 4 years the couple has lived together and now, they are making the ultimate (legal) commitment to each other! During this time, Kyle and Nichole have had so many wonderful adventures including Quad-Parenting a phenomenal young lady, becoming Scuba Certified, changing up positions and responsibilities at their place of work, many family trips to places all over the world, and still working to build upon their incredibly strong foundation as a couple.

Sometimes, when you really do follow your heart, but you don't ignore the obstacles - instead you strategize, be honest, realistic, and always, always communicate - you'll often find a partnership forms which supersedes anything you could have imagined or hoped for.
