How do I book my cruise?
When you are ready to book your cruise contact Lex Perez 1(800)819-3902 ext:85134. Lex will take care of you and make sure your cruise is linked to our booking so we all dine together. Our dining time for elegant dinners is set to 6pm
Flights
The ship departs from Long Beach CA. It's recommended everyone try to arrive the night prior to avoid any delays on embarkation day. The closest airports will be LAX or John Wayne. When you book your cruise they will share all the information for your embarkation day and what time to arrive.
Can I bring a guest?
We, of course, want you to have your loved ones on board with you. However, there is a set number of people we can have attend the ceremony. When booking the wedding we only accounted for a certain number of people. Additional guests are an added expense to us. If you didn't previously discuss a plus one with us, please make sure you RSVP with your guests name as well. We do ask that any additional guests that weren't previously discussed pay the $30 fee for us to add them.
Are children welcome?
Yes! the cruise is kid friendly and you can of course bring the kiddos! They have an onship camp for the kiddos to enjoy during times you need some adult time. If you plan on having the kids attend the wedding, and we didn't discuss beforehand, we do ask that you pay the $30 fee.
RSVP
If everyone can please RSVP no later than July of 2024 so I can submit the final guest list. If you have any additional guests coming with you to the wedding , we will also need the $30 per person fee at that time to finalize th additional costs.
What do I need to pack for my cruise?
The cruise is 5 days .3 days at sea and 2 days in Port. Be sure to pack for warm weather and comfort. At night, we have tables reserved for elegant dining, so be sure to pack some nicer things. A dress code can be found on the Carnival website. For the wedding attire bring some formal wear! Ladies, bring a pink dress for a bachelorette party!
What can I expect on the cruise
The cruises are mostly all-inclusive. This will include your rooms, meals, and entertainment. There are, however, additional dining and entertainment options, such as onshore excursions, that are additional costs if you choose to do them. They have an elegant dining option for evening where everyone gets the chance to "dress thier best" and enjoy fresh 3 course meals . We have reserved early dining for our party at 6 pm to be available to make any of the later shows or events. There's no cell reception on the ship. I recommend purchasing a wifi package if you would like to be able to stay in contact . For those who don't purchase wifi, have no fear! We can all stay in contact by downloading the Carnival app and using a group chat through there.
Itinerary
The wedding will be held on the first "day at sea" on the 10th between 11am and 3pm. Time will be finalized 2 weeks prior . Saturday the 9th, once we all are boarded, we will have time to spend together on deck until we are released to our rooms. At that point, we will all be able to change and get ready for the bachelor/bachelorette parties! Sunday will be the wedding, there is no formal reception after the wedding. We will all be able to celebrate in our own way together at dinner and afterward. Then we have the next 4 days to relax and enjoy each other's company!
Pictures
We welcome everyone to take as many pictures on board as possible. Anything you post wedding related, please be sure to use the #goinggibbs! During the ceremony, the photographers might ask to keep phones put away. We will verify these details closer to the time of the wedding.
What about gifts?
The gift of your company is all we need! We are so thankful each of you is taking the time to come celebrate with us. If you insist on gifts, we prefer the gift of experiences or one of the selected items on our registry. Please do not bring gifts on the ship!
