Nick & Juliet met when they were classmates at the University of Mary Washington in American History Since 1865. The two were both mutual followers of each other on Instagram as they both played baseball and softball for UMW. Juliet was stumped one day in study hall on a history homework assignment, so her friend Madi (who went to Brooke Point High School with Nick) said she would reach out to Nick for help. Juliet stopped her and decided she was going to be the one to message him, because he just looked SO smart in class (definitely not because she thought he was cute). As you all know..Nick graduated UMW with a history degree, so obviously he definitely was the right person to ask for help. . Nick also had no idea how to do the assignment, but Juliet & Nick began texting back and forth and ultimately ended up going on their first date on March 21st, 2019. The two lovebirds had been dating for almost 5 years when Nick popped the question in Pittsburgh, PA at the top of Mount Washington over looking the Pittsburgh skyline on October 7, 2023 while they were in town for the weekend for a Pittsburgh Steelers game (which they won!!!) & the rest is history!!!
