Nick and Susan met in the sixth grade. They both shared many classes together but the most notable being orchestra where they both played violin. They spent their childhood being close friends. Nick was even a part of Susan’s Quinceañera court. They have spent the better part of their adolescence, growing to know each other as friends. They both had school crushes on one another but we’re both too shy to ever insight anything. Surprising to hear right?

As Susan was completing her Masters degree at FSU Law and a couple of months before she went abroad for her last semester, Nick reached out to her. The following week, Susan packed up her bags and drove down to Lakeland for a surprise spring break visit. If you’re wondering why, it’s obvious the answer was Nick. He had invited Susan out the next time she was in town. Little did he know that she would spare no expense and waste no time taking him up on that offer.

With little time having passed since they became exclusive Nick booked a ticket to visit Susan abroad at Oxford. They traveled, visiting London, and flying over to Barcelona and Madrid. Once Susan’s study abroad was over and she had the choice of continuing to live in Tallahassee or moving back home, she knew that the answer was clear. Her heart was at home with Nick. Little did she know that Nick would become her home and she his.

In 2023, a short year and a half after they began dating Susan was accepted into law school and they moved to Jacksonville, Florida. That following October of 2023 Nick proposed at lake mirror, where her and Nick had been countless times. Susan will graduate in the spring of 2026 and be eligible to take the Bar Exam that summer. She will the first in her family to become an attorney. Nick works as a Manager at 84 Lumber and plans to continue his career there. They live in Jacksonville, FL with two beautiful German Shepard mix dogs, Hazel and Sabbath. Life is so good and they are so happy you’re a part of there’s.
