Nick and Delaney met in 2020 when things first started opening up after Covid lockdown. Desperate not to be alone during the next Covid wave, they started dating!

After falling in love, Delaney convinced Nick to abandon his family in Chicago and move to Denver, CO (it was actually Nick's idea but oh well).

The month after moving to Denver, Delaney bullied Nick into getting a dog, and they have been exploring Colorado and the mountains with Sammy Gamgee since.
