Our story began at the softballs fields in Joplin back in 2020. I was working for Joplin Parks & Recreation and Nick was playing on a team. After texting for a couple of weeks we decide to go on a date. We went to play mini golf and Cafe Del Rio. At this time we decided to just be friends. So we continued to text on and off throughout the next three and half years. Out of the blue on a Thursday evening in November of 2023 he texted me and eventually I texted him back. We started texting more often and one evening he took me to Red Onion. Little did I know that at the end of the date (because he was so nervous) he would ask me to be his girlfriend. A little over four months later we got engaged and the rest is history!
