Once upon a time, Kylie was struggling to do deadlifts and had asked the owner of the gym for tips on correct from. The owner mentioned something about Kylie’s past in basketball and a handsome, young man in the same room happened to eavesdrop in on the conversation. After the owner left, the handsome man, let's call him Nick, made his move. And, BOY what a move it was!“So you played basketball, huh?” Nick said. Kylie responded, “Only in high school, did you play?” “Yeah, I played in college”. This was all that was discussed in that moment. And end of story. SIKE!

From that point forward, Kylie would rearrange her entire schedule to match up with the times Nick would be at the gym. She would strategically wait in the parking lot until he would pull in and then she would go in to work out. (Side note, Kylie had never been more motivated to go to the gym until this moment. Another side note (sorry mom and dad for this one) Kylie also skipped a couple of classes to make sure she would be at the gym the same time as Nick). Another tactic Kylie used to make Nick notice her more, was by using her little brother, Toby, and making him walk on one treadmill so Kylie would be “forced” to walk next to Nick. One fateful day Nick cornered Kylie at the cubbies and asked “I don’t think I ever got your name.” (Little known fact, we both already knew each other’s name from looking up school rosters and finding each other on instagram). Fast forward even more, Nick’s gym buddy, Coy, couldn’t make it to the gym one specific day. Because of this, Kylie and Nick decided to work out together that day. After this, every night after the gym, Kylie would sit in Nick's truck and talk and listen to each other music suggestions. Things moved outside of the gym when Nick visited Kylie at work one Saturday (Wolf Hills Coffee Shop) with his nephew, Beau. When Kylie saw Nick walk in with a kid, first she was in "AWW with how cute!" and then it dawned on her that this could be a kid he neglected to mention. However, Nick introduced Beau to Kylie and she was put at ease. Things developed from there and Nick would come in every Saturday and wait for Kylie to get off of work and they would enjoy a coffee together. From this point forward things were history and now we are getting married!!!
