Growing up, Nick was friends with Emily's sibling Jacob; Emily was friends with Nick's sister EmmaKate. Here's a picture of the four of us at a family outing to Baltimore sometime in the mid 2000's!

Nick and Emily each moved home to Lancaster during the pandemic and were living with their parents. To escape the COVID winter blues, a group of friends started "Hike Club". Nick and Emily had the chance to reconnect and catch up on these cold, masked hikes.

In the spring & summer of 2021, Nick developed a crush on Emily. Despite his efforts of trying to connect (or help her fix her bike!), she was obliviously unaware of his intentions.

Nick decided to shoot his shot and asked Emily out on a date in September 2021. Emily said yes but said she was busy for the next month. Finally, they went mini golfing. Nick wins (only by) one point.

Things are doing well after a month of hanging out, so they go on their first camping trip at Cowan's Gap, PA.
