One temperate but fateful Spring day, a young sales rep rode along with his mentor to a sales call to meet a prospective buyer working on setting up a new office in Sunnyvale, California.

For Indelisa, it was just another item to check of her list of things to buy for the office.

For Nick, he had prepped for this call with some light online stalking after being prompted by his mentor to come along because the girl he's meeting with "is kinda cute."

As the deal progressed, Indelisa took Nick's mentor up on the offering for a free lunch if she would first attend a demo to take a look at the printers they were pushing.

With nothing else to do and the promise of free sushi, she accepted this invitation.

Shortly after the demo had concluded, Nick's mentor shared that he suddenly had a doctor's appointment and would need to miss the lunch he had arranged; but, he encouraged the two to go on without him.

After a unique run-in with his company's CEO at the restaurant, Nick and Indy were finally able to chat for the remainder of their lunch. Upon leaving the restaurant – and very professionally, we might add – Nick built up the courage to ask Indy on a date.

And, the rest is rock & roll history...
