Downtown Urbana + Downtown Champaign - Check out the twin cities' respective downtowns, both with good food, bars, books, record shops, etc. Urbana's Market at the Square happens Saturday mornings from 7 a.m. to Noon, and is the largest farmer's market in Illinois south of Chicago!

Loose Cobra, Tolono- Legendary dive bar with a huge vinyl collection, great margaritas, occasional rock and roll shows. Shouts out to Matt T.

Local Breweries - Check out Triptych in Savoy and 25 O'clock and Riggs in Urbana

Golden Harbor - Some of the best Chinese food you'll have here or anywhere else!

Savoy 16 + IMAX - I think the new Mad Max movie will be out?

Allerton, Monticello - Nature center and park with trails, garden, and statues. About a half hour drive from the CU area.
