It all started back in their 2nd grade class when they were 8 years old at Cox Mill Elementary. Nick and Taylor sat a few seats away from each other, not knowing the love story that would unfold.

As Nick and Taylor grew older, they attended Cox Mill High School together. Going into their junior year of high school, the two started dating. Nick asked Taylor to be his girlfriend on August 26th, 2016. The rest is history. Nick was playing baseball while Taylor was playing volleyball. As high school graduation was approaching, the talk of college came about. Nick made the decision to become a pirate at East Carolina University to study business. Taylor committed to Auburn University where her volleyball career would continue.

From living 15 minutes from each other throughout high school to now living 9 hours from each other, Nick and Taylor began their long distance journey. Even though they only saw each other a handful of times during the year, their relationship was never in question. The two grew closer and stronger through this. Taylor then ended up transferring to finish her last three years of college volleyball at North Carolina State University and get her degree in elementary education.

As life went on, college graduation was here before they knew it. The next chapter of life was unfolding. They both moved back to Concord, NC where they began working. The two have been dating for 7 1/2 years. The journey they took to get to where they are now is so special. On April 6th, 2024, Nick proposed to Taylor, asking to spend forever with one another. Yet again, the rest is history!

As Nick and Taylor approach their wedding day, they thank God everyday for their story together. They continue to lean on each other through all of life's moments. Here is to forever!!
