Diana and Nick's love story began at Rutgers University during the Fall Semester of 2013. Diana had just transferred to Rutgers, eager to start a new chapter in her academic journey. One night, she was looking to explore the campus nightlife. Her best friend Stephanie mentioned that her childhood friend, Nick, also attended Rutgers and suggested they all go out together.

Nick invited them to a party he was going to that night. When they arrived at his apartment, Nick welcomed them and introduce his roommates, Ed, Thomas, & Kevon along with other friends.

Over the next few months, Diana and Nick's shared many great moments and enjoyed each other's company. A few years later, New Year's Eve (2017), Nick decided it was time to take their friendship to the next level. He asked Diana out to dinner.

Their first date was at McLoone's in Long Branch, their hometown. From that moment on, their love story blossomed, leading them to where they are today—happily engaged and excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

One evening, on their way to dinner, they made a quick stop at the lobby's bar. Nick asked Diana to wait for him while he had a quick errand to run. Once Nick returned, Nick led Diana outside the lobby to a charming gazebo.

From a distance, Diana could see that the gazebo was decorated with champagne and flowers. Once in the gazebo, Nick popped the question!
