Wake Forest University Residence Life and Housing is to thank for Nick and Caroline meeting each other :) We were both assigned to Collins Residence Hall on the same floor, and Nick hosted an open-invite "dorm gathering" and Caroline happened to show up. We became fast friends, and quickly realized we were both interested in something more serious! Nick asked Caroline to be his ~official girlfriend~ within a month, and we have been together ever since. We have been lucky enough to go on many adventures throughout our relationship, from Winston-Salem, to Copenhagen, to San Francisco! We are so excited for this new adventure: becoming our own little chosen family. Chidi and Melog (our cats) already think we are one, anyway!

Our Story

We are strongly encouraging all guests to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Canton as it will be a hub of operations for the wedding weekend. This hotel is less than 5 minutes from the venue, and we will be providing transportation to and from the hotel for all wedding attendees. Ellie is Caroline's sister and best friend.

Ellie Kenney

Austin is one of Nick's closest friends from college. Pledged together and lived together multiple years. They get along like brothers and are always there for each other.

Mary is Caroline's cousin who shares a brain with Caroline. Fun Fact: when Nick met Mary for the first time, he said "Oh my god, there's two of you" about Mary and Caroline. She grew up in Milton with the Kenney family and has always been like a second sister to Caroline.

One of Nick's best college buddies. We grew super close during pledging and lived together for multiple years. Truly a special person to have around

Jon Najarian

Jess is one of Caroline's best friends from Camp Hayward. They were goofy teenagers together, and have grown up to be goofy adults together. The two can be found plotting something mischievous, or laughing so hard they're crying.

Jess Abramson

Caroline's brother and Nick's future brother-in-law. He and Nick have developed a strong bond over golf and skiing over the years. 

Tommy Kenney

Bridget is Caroline's best friend in San Francisco. She is also Chidi and Melog's honorary aunt, as she is the only person (other than Nick and Caroline) that Melog will come out from under the bed for. She is a sick skier and an even sicker friend. 

Bridget Lumb

Caroline's brother and Nick's future brother-in-law, Will has always been a welcoming member of the Kenney Crew. Nick and Will have been able to bond over their love of cheffing.

Riley is one of Caroline's best friends from Wake Forest, and they were roommates for 3/4 of college. She actually befriended Nick before Caroline, which is perfect since he stuck around! She is a genius, hilarious, thoughtful person, and to know her is to love her.

Joe is one of Nick's closest friends from home. He is always one of Nick's first stops when visiting NC and they've stayed close.

Joe Donovin

Madeline is *technically* not Caroline's cousin, but she might as well be. She grew up alongside the Kenney family in Milton, and has been an important part of Caroline's life for almost 20 years! In adulthood, Madeline, Mary, Ellie, and Caroline are known to be together as often as possible, with the newest addition of Nick to the "Hype House."

Joe's twin! Pat is one of Nick's best friends from home and, much like Joe is, he's one of Nick's first stops when visiting home. They love sharing a Canes game together!

Pat Donovin

Tessa is one of Caroline's best friends from Wake Forest. The two studied Elementary Education together, and had the chance to be roommates Junior year. Tessa is hysterical, witty, playful, and confident--she is exactly the type of person you want (and need) in your life.

Erik is again one of Nick's best friends. The two stay extremely close despite both living away from their hometowns. They both love the guitar and a stupid joke.

Allie's mom and Caroline's mom were roommates in college, and produced daughters who are just as close. Allie grew up 30 minutes away from Caroline, and the two are known to be their silliest selves together, as they've known each other since the womb! Allie is one of the most creative, clever, and selfless people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Joe and Nick met way back in freshman year of high school. They were inseparable at times through high school and Joe is one of Nick's closest friends.

Amber is one of Caroline's best friends from Camp Hayward. She is also one of the only other Hayward girlies who has moved away from Boston. She is one of the silliest, kindest, most fun people to be around, and always knows how to make you feel loved.

Cole and Nick hit it off ever since their first round of golf representing their high school freshman year. The friendly competition driven by strong wills made them close on and off the course.

Mia is Caroline's goddaughter and youngest cousin! She is from Milton and is a part of the Kenney family. She's a badass hockey player, a talented baseball player, and one of the funniest kids you'll ever meet. She's also the first girl to ever make the Milton Little League All Stars! If you can't tell, she's the coolest.

Kelsey is a Wake Forest friend who shared a backyard with Nick senior year of college, then lived below him during fifth year/grad year. We couldn't decide who's side she would stand on so she gets to be both. Kelsey is chaos embodied, incredibly thoughtful, and laugh-out-loud funny.

Wedding Party

Right around the corner from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (where most of you will be staying) is the Blue Hills Reservation! If you park at the Trailside Museum (or even walk from the hotel to the museum), you can follow the trail up to Eliot Tower to see a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline over the fall foliage! Would recommend this activity to ages 4+, unless you've got a super agile toddler. For those under 4, the Trailside Museum itself has some little critters and fun, educational exhibits! Caroline loved coming here as a little kid.

Trillium is a fun brewery pretty much across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (where most of you will be staying)! Good drinks, good lawn games, good vibes all around.

Topgolf is a fun spot for groups of any age--golf, drinks, and food! We HIGHLY recommend booking a reservation if you are interested in checking it out--while it's less than 10 minutes away from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (where most of you will be staying), it is known to have obscene wait times if you don't have a reservation!

The commuter rail goes directly into Boston from the Route 128 station, which is a 5-minute drive from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (where most of you will be staying). The website linked has the schedule of trains. To get into the city, you will take a train going toward South Station. To leave the city and return to Route 128 station, you can take any of the following trains from South Station: Providence, Stoughton, or Wickford Junction. We highly recommend using Google Maps to make sure you're riding the right train!

We strongly, strongly, strongly encourage you to tell your little ones that they have a special party to attend while you attend the grown-up party. We will not be providing dinner at the reception for anyone under 10, but we will provide them dinner at the Kid Party!&nbsp; We will be hiring childcare providers based on the number of littles attending the Kid Party, so just like you RSVP to us, we'd love for the kids to RSVP to Vicki!&nbsp; The childcare providers will be hired through Caroline's summer camp she used to work at--so all will be fun, reliable, creative, and trustworthy with your most prized people :) They will be responsible for feeding &amp; entertaining the kids while you are at our reception, but we will not have them do bedtime--that'll be up to you whenever you return from the reception (it ends at 10)! We will have more information shared with you via either phone or email soon, and as we get closer to the date we will send a second form for more detailed information (i.e. allergies/medications/special routines).
