Hotel Accommodations
We have provided a room block for an entire lodge in Dahlonega, GA. The Smith House is a historic piece of Georgia history, dating back to the 1880's and known for its role in the local Gold Mine. The original building still stands, serving as guest rooms and their on-site restaurant, they expanded their property to open their Lodge in 2020.
To place a reservation, please call the number provided and state you are reserving with the Howard/Schofield Wedding.
Room rates are as follows:
2 Queen or 1 King- $209/night +tax
2 Queen or 1 King w/ a balcony- $229/night +tax
Please note that we can only guarantee transportation arrangements if guests stay at these accommodations.
Airbnb Rentals
There are a ton of cabins on Airbnb to choose from, we recommend looking for options in either Cleveland, Helen or Dahlonega. These towns are the closest proximity to the venue.
Transportation
We are so grateful for each of you making the drive or flight to celebrate this day with us, so as a thank you from us, we have arranged for transportation to and from the wedding venue.
Guests are encouraged to book hotel accommodations through our wedding block as the transportation services will be using this as a meeting point for pick-up and drop-off.
For transportation outside of wedding festivities, we recommend a rental vehicle for the duration of your stay to allow for exploring of the beautiful north GA!
