Nick and I met in government class sophomore year. We were assigned partners, and he used most of that time making fun of me for liking country music and wearing boots to school. This of course, was back when he thought that was so "hick" but now he's the one rocking boots and listening to country any chance he can get. After that project was over, we never talked or hung out until two years later in math class... Five months left until our senior year was over I decided to make the first move and snapchat him after he recorded a video and caught me in the background looking goofy. Him catching embarrassing moments of me on camera is the true definition of our relationship, so it's perfect that it started that way. We both knew of his amazing opportunity to get drafted and being away was a possibility. But, we decided to take a chance on us anyway. After six years of long distance he finally decided he wanted me forever...(I had decided about two years prior but that's neither here nor there).
