Our Wedding

Our Love Story 🫶🏽

Our love story began when we met in the summer of 2021. Nick was attending the Marine Corps basic school for officers in Quantico, Virginia. Jeanie was a 3rd grade teacher there at the time. We had our first date on July 24, 2021 in downtown Fredericksburg at an ourdoor bar, Billiken's. The next morning we met up for breakfast at a little cafe called Eileen's. 🤍

In February of 2022, we found out that we were moving to San Diego, California! We traveled cross country from Virginia to California. We moved into an apartment in Carlsbad, CA and have been there ever since! On Wednesday April 3, 2024, Nick asked Jeanie to marry him at the Ala Moana Beach Park in Oahu, Hawaii!

Over the past 3.5 years we have visited 11 states, explored 10 National Parks, and vacationed in Europe (Italy and Switzerland) and Africa (Egypt) together! Traveling, trying new foods, and camping are some of our favorite things to do together.

We are SO excited for you to celebrate our special day with us!! 🫶🏽

Last day to book for the group rate is May 13, 2025. The group rate will be applied to “Studio, 1 King, Sofa bed” rooms that are booked for any of the following nights: June 12, June 13, June 14. You can book it for all 3 nights or a combination of the listed nights to get the group rate! If you are booking at this hotel for this type of room during any of these selected nights and adding additional nights as well, please reach out to Jeanie and she can get you information on how to still apply for the group rate for the 3 nights that are listed above! This hotel is 2.4 miles (about 6-8 minutes) away from our wedding venue. They offer complementary breakfast and have an outdoor swimming pool!

This is a great beach to visit if you are looking to see seals and sea lions. The parking gets pretty crazy, so we reccommend taking the first parking spot you come accross.
