Our Wedding

Julia and Nick met each other for the first time in 2012 at a Jimmy John’s on Youngstown State University’s campus. This would lead into talking to each other through twitter and eventually a double date with mutual friends. They quickly found that they had so much in common from their music tastes, love of Marvel and Harry Potter, and most importantly moonlighting as junior Nancy Drew detectives. One date became two and two became many. In 2014 after a little over a year of dating Julia moved to Columbus with her family to work in the family business, which resulted in Julia driving back to Canfield every weekend so that they could be together. After almost a year of living in different cities Nick moved to Columbus in 2015 and transferred to OSU and began to work in the family business as well. In 2019 and 2020 Nick and Julia respectively graduated from OSU (Nick by scraping by and Julia with honors) and got their first big apartment together in March of 2020. Later that year in October they adopted a fur baby they found on Craigslist late one night and would name her Cookie. Like Julia, she is a lot to handle but incredibly sweet to her most trusted humans. Despite years of constant obstacles and hardships Julia and Nick share an unbreakable bond and are excited to strengthen their love for one another to infinity and beyond.
