Nick and Natalie’s story begins in the fall of 2017. Before they had officially met, Natalie grew close to a group of friends at UAB. Not only did they go to high school with Nick but were all close friends with him. Nick would visit Birmingham frequently, and in one of those visits, he attended a Friendsgiving. It was there that Nick and Natalie would meet for the first time. Throughout this time, their strongest connection was their mutual love for their friends. Nick would soon transfer to UAB from UA in the spring of 2018. From then on, Nick and Nat would see one another in group settings until October 2018, when they decided to attend an Odesza concert with a mutual friend. After the concert, they began to spend more time together, just the two of them. They’d go on numerous dates to O’Henrys, thrift stores, several hikes, bama games, and one special outing to Popeyes by the train tracks. They officially began their relationship in December of 2018. These past five years, Nick and Nat have grown in their love and have faced no obstacles that they could not overcome together. Words cannot express their excitement for their futures with one another. All the impending highs and lows will be met with the same level of patience, love, and commitment that they have been met with for half a decade.
