What to wear?
We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so there’s no need for black tie formalwear! Think of what you might wear to a fancy dinner at a resort.
For the gents: a collared shirt (short-sleeved is totally fine!) and a nice pair of shorts or golf pants work great. A nice jacket is also a good idea.
For the ladies: a sundress or a stylish top with a skirt or shorts is perfect—avoid denim.
For shoes, the sand on the beach is very loose. We recommend anything flat: slides, sandals, or flip-flops for the ceremony and then whichever shoes you prefer for the reception is fine too. It does get cooler at night here in March, so it's a good idea to bring layers for the evening.
How to get to the wedding ceremony?
We highly encourage taking an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony. Parking is extremely limited, lots are expensive, and side-streets are not available without a permit. Madeira will tow for any pay to park lots that don’t allow beach parking. A trolley will be available taking guests from the Elks Lodge parking lot to the beach.
How to get to the reception after the ceremony?
Don't worry about that, we’ll it have it covered for you! There will be trolleys taking guests from the beach to the reception venue.
