Nicky and Jason met on the dating app, Hinge. Jason waited 2 weeks for Nicky to respond to him and when she finally did, he invited her to Maoli concert after no one else would go with him. They hit it off right away, the date was going amazing until things got a little reckless and Nicky thought Yeah, nevamind.


But as time went on, they were able to learn the true nature of each other. They were both God-centered people intentionally looking for a Godly partner. The first time they really witnessed each others loving hearts was during the disastrous fires of Lahaina. Jason poured out his love rushing over to serve the people of Lahaina. When Nicky witnessed his kind, loving, genuine character her heart softened for him. Nicky and her dear friend, Jen, followed his lead shortly after and went to Maui to help after Jason got them set up.


From there, the foundation was set. These two soon found out just how extremely compatible they were. Not just in their love of sports, fishing, adventure, karaoke, golfing, traveling, and the ocean, but also in matching personalities, love languages, hearts to love and help others, mindfulness, forgiveness and just overall character. But above all of that, their love for Jesus and desire to keep Him at the center of everything was most important to both. The more time they spent together in prayer, church and God‘s presence, the more they experienced supernatural signs and confirmation that gave them the confidence that this union was truly a Godsend and that’s all they needed to move forward.
