In the midst of the pandemic, we were setup by friends and kept in touch through social media. When we finally decided to meet up, we chose to go fishing in Bayou Black. I was slinging the bass in the boat like a professional bass master and that's when he knew he had the catch of a lifetime.

Just before school started back up, my best friend texts me that we, including our boyfriends, need to hang out before we get too deep into class work. We planned to go to Houma's House Friday for dinner. At Houma's House, I was taking pictures of Riley and Breigh just to turn around and see Brandon on his knee. My first reaction was that this is another joke that he is playing on me; but, little did I know that he was serious. And now we are engaged!
