Our love story

We grew up in the same hometown, always aware of each other, but never actually friends. Life had us moving in different circles… until years later, when a dating app brought us back into each other’s world. What started as casual, on-and-off conversations quickly turned into something more the moment we finally went on our first date — an evening of Rotary Garden lights and dinner at Milwaukee Grill. That night set the tone for everything that followed.

Hannah knew instantly. She even told her grandma, Kathy, at Christmas — “He’s the one.” This was before we were even officially dating. Nick, quiet and steady, showed his heart not with big speeches but with consistency, protection, and love that felt grounding in every season.

Over time, we built a relationship around the small things that ended up meaning the most: golfing together on warm days, cooking side by side, grocery-store runs that somehow turned into date nights, long card games, and espresso martinis shared at the end of a busy week. Our theme has always been simple — we put each other first. No matter the situation, we’ve always found intentional moments to check in, reconnect, and spend true one-on-one time together.

So when Nick proposed on our deck at home — just us, a fire crackling, music playing, surrounded by the place where so many of our memories live — it made perfect sense. It was simple, emotional, and exactly who we are as a couple.

Now we’re stepping into this next chapter with excitement and gratitude. We’re dreaming about buying a house, building a family we can be proud of, and creating a life rooted in love, intention, and the kind of happiness that doesn’t need luxury — just each other.

This is our story so far…
and the best part is just beginning.
