Hayley and Nicolas met on December 31st, 2016 while attending a New Year’s Eve party. Our mutual friend, and the person who will marry us, Darryl Oliver, introduced us. Hayley is adamant that she is the one who started all the conversation that night, where Nicolas is certain it was him. At the end of the night, Nicolas got Hayley’s phone number, and planned their first date.

After 2 years of dating, Nicolas started the LASD academy and Hayley started the SDSO academy, which meant they would have to do long distance for the time being.

In March of 2022, Hayley got hired with Glendora PD and the long distance was over at last! Shortly after moving back from San Diego, Hayley moved in with Nicolas, where their happily ever after started.

After living together for about 9 months, Nicolas decided the timing was perfect to ask Hayley to marry him. With A LOT of assistance from Nicolas’ step sister, Alexis Rothans, the plan was set!

On January 7th 2023, Nicolas and Hayley took a trip to Temecula to celebrate their “6 year dating anniversary”. Little did Hayley know, Nicolas had gathered their families and while at Ponte Winery, Nicolas asked Hayley to marry him and she said yes!

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on May 11th, 2024!
