Q + A

We recommend flying into Dulles International Airport (IAD), as this is the airport closest to our wedding venue. After landing, you can either book an Uber/Lyft, or rent a car from the airport.

Dulles International Airport

We would recommend this hotel for most guests, as it's the closest to the venue (15 mins). It is further from the airport (50 mins). We’ve hired a shuttle bus to pick guests up from the Holiday Inn a half hour before the party starts, and drop you back off after things have wrapped up. Book as soon as you can, as hotel availability in Warrenton on our wedding day is low.

Holiday Inn - Warrenton

20 minutes from our venue, this secluded countryside retreat has an onsite restaurant and big outdoor spaces for walking and biking.

Airlie

A bit further from our venue (55 mins) but closer to Dulles airport (10 mins). A little more upscale, and located in the center of Reston which is more urban than Warrenton. Shuttles will not be running to this hotel.

Hyatt Regency - Reston

Other Options

Feel free to browse Airbnb and other websites to find a place to stay. If you're in a group of 6-10 people, you can explore booking the entire Chilton House Suites, a charming Inn located in Downtown Warrenton (5 rooms for $800 total/night).

A note of caution

If you plan to drive, please exercise caution as the roads in and around the venue are winding, not well lit and occasionally frequented by deer.

Travel

Historic Warrenton

Warrenton is the gateway to Virginia’s Piedmont Region, known for its wineries, horses and beautiful vistas. We recommend stopping by Main Street in the Historic Old Town of Warrenton to browse art galleries, grab a breakfast, or dine out at a local farm-to-table restaurant.

Dining

Claire's at the Depot

Eclectic Southern-leaning dishes offered inside an 18th century train station.

Denim and Pearls

Rustic Italian dishes, specialty whiskeys and bourbon, and patio seating on Main Street in Warrenton.

Field and Main Restaurant

Charming upscale eatery in a rustic-chic setting serving Southern-inspired fare & fine wine.

Arby's

Just kidding.

Wineries and Breweries

Morais Vineyards & Winery

Pearmund Cellars

Mediterranean Cellars

Old Bust Head Brewing Company

Shenandoah National Park

If you have some free time and a car, Shenandoah National Park is 45 minutes from Warrenton and offers a huge network of trails, waterfalls and rocky peaks.
