The closest airport is in Palermo, Sicily. It is a 1.5 hour trip from Palermo to Marsala. More details to come as we figure out transportation options between these places.

Palermo Airport to Palermo City Center

If you arriving in Palermo a few days early, as I know some of us are, Trenitalia has a train ride that goes between the airport and the city center. It is around 50 minutes long and leaves about every 30 mins. The cost is about $14. You can also arrange other transportation if you would like by taxi or private car.

Palermo City Center to Palermo Airport

Anybody in Palermo early will have to get back to the airport as the arranged transportation would only allow for pickup from the airport. On September 1, 2023 you will need to be at the airport by 1600 (4pm) if you are planning to take the transportation we have arranged.

Palermo Airport to Marsala

Transportation from the Palermo Airport to Marsala is arranged on September 1st at 1600 (4pm). The bus will be picking guests up from the Palermo Airport as it is an easy location for pick up, so please be at the airport ready for pickup at this time if you plan to use this transportation.
