Zac and I were set up by mutual friends in June 2023 (the classic “We are having a group of people over” and it was only Zac and I) we began talking immediately - we were in Casstown &amp; realized our houses were 5 minutes away from each other in Piqua &amp; we were debating on whose route home was quickest (My way was faster but he still won’t admit it) We were messaging each other already when we got home late that night. Not long after was our first date. He took me to dinner and fireworks, and honestly, we both kind of knew right away this was something real. The next day he brought me breakfast and flowers for my birthday :) Zac still likes to joke that I was only into him because he drove a sweet Bronco but what kept me around was his ability to make me laugh, feel comfortable in every situation, and his dependability. What really won me over was when he picked me and three of my ~slightly~ intoxicated friends up on Wednesday night of Country Concert in Ft. Loramie even though he had to work early the next morning. We were loud &amp; gross from a night in the hills, but he came no questions asked to bring us all home. You could consider this our second date! That’s when I realized he was definitely different from the rest, he was the person I had been looking for. I finally understood what people meant when they said, “When you know, you know”. Fast forward a year, and we found out we were expecting! Our daughter, Jovi, is the greatest thing we’ve done. We are so proud of the life we have created. The journey of parenthood has only brought us closer together. The crazy days &amp; sleepless nights have shown us how well we work together as a team. While we were on our baby-moon in Gatlinburg, Zac proposed and made the trip even more unforgettable. I had told him to wait until after the baby came, but he wanted to surprise me &amp; he sure did! Now, here we are, getting ready to say “I do” and throw a party with all of you who’ve been part of our story so far. We cannot wait to continue building the life we have already started, with lots of love, laughter &amp; Bronco rides!

Nikki’s Version

I first tried talking to Nikki in April of 2023, as you can tell by her story mentioning we started talking in June, I didn’t get very far in April. We never really got further than snap-chatting back and forth periodically, and eventually it stopped completely until we met in person for the first time. It was supposed to be a small hangout, and turned out that her and I were 2 of the 4 people hanging out. She probably is going to say that falling for me over my Bronco is just a joke, but I know that’s what hooked her. Thank goodness I bought it literally 4 days before we met. As the night went on, we argued over who took the fastest way back into town. We left at the same time that night and to no surprise, my way was faster. I waited at the intersection outside of Piqua for 2-3 minutes on my way home to see if the headlights coming up behind me were her, and sure enough they were. We talked after we both got home that night until we both were practically asleep, mostly about how I was trying to get my body temperature back above 50 since I thought it was a good idea to drive with the doors off, not realizing how cold it would get that night.&nbsp; I knew right away there was something different about her, I was not only falling for her sense of humor and her looks, she was also the first girl I had been around that could give me the same amount of banter &amp; sarcasm back that I dished out. I’ll never forget how much fun I had during our first date on the 4th of July, an anniversary I’ll always remember since it’s a holiday! I remember going over to my parents house that weekend and after my mom pried it out of me that I went a date, I told her that Nikki was going to be my wife someday. I knew from the first date that she was the girl I was going to marry, I had to wait to let her know that though. I waited to say I love you until September of 2023 when I met both of her parents - because when you marry the girl you marry her family too, and what an amazing second family I’ve gained in the process. I was pretty nervous about meeting her dad though. The first time I met him was at a car dealership, where he met Nikki &amp; I to test drive a new car I convinced her she needed. Fast forward over two years later, we have a home together and the most perfect baby girl in the world, Jovi. I wouldn’t want to continue building this life with anyone else by my side. Nikki told me I had to wait to propose until after the baby came but I couldn’t wait until Jovi was here to propose. So, in December of 2024, on our baby moon I popped the question and caught her completely off guard! Nikki is my rock, my comfort, and my best friend. I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner and mother to our kids. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in May, and raise a glass to a lifetime of happiness, love, and a handful of surprise car purchases!&nbsp;
