Our story began in January 2014. Mike just started working at the same company as me (in a different department). I liked to ignore him and Mike liked to pick on me – we started with a nice 3^rd grade relationship. As we saw each other daily we became friends through pure convenience. Through our true love/hate relationship we realized the other person was not as bad as we originally thought, and nine months after we met we started dating.

As we started dating and learning about each other, we discovered how many similarities we shared. We had similar goals, standards, beliefs, and even personalities. We saw each other nearly every day for close to 2 years working at the same office and we still liked the other person at the end of the day. Eventually, Mike and I started working for different companies, and we learned what it was like not to see each other daily. It was during the next few months that I realized there is no way I could do life without him.

Here we are today, starting a new adventure together – and God answered all my prayers because I could not have chosen a better person to start it with.
