Nicole and Thomas met in 2022, and from the very beginning everything felt easy between them. Their first date was over Italian food, and within a month they were officially together and introducing each other to their families. Since then, their life together has been full of trying new foods, going to concerts, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors on hikes and walks.

Nicole grew up in Brazil, while Thomas grew up in Texas, where the two first met. In many ways, their story already spans different places. As Thomas joined the Army and Nicole pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, they began navigating long distance more than a year ago. Though not always easy, the experience has made them stronger and even more certain about their future together.

The proposal took place during a birthday trip to Florida. Knowing that the beach is Nicole’s favorite place—and that she prefers quiet moments over big crowds—Thomas planned it early in the morning with just the two of them and the ocean. It was simple, thoughtful, and perfect. Now, after almost three years together, Nicole and Thomas are excited to close the distance and begin this next chapter side by side.
