Our Story
The beginning of forever!
Let’s set the scene, it’s a regular work day at smoky mountain brewery, a cook has called out due to their wife being sick. David is on the line in the kitchen and says “I wish I had a wife so I could call out. Does anyone wanna be my wife?” Here comes Nicole around the corner like it was written in a movie and says “I’ll be your wife!” This was the first true conversation had between the couple, little did they know 5 years later it would actually come true.

Q + A
What do I wear?
We’d love a dressier look—think cocktail or semi-formal—but please come comfortable. Please avoid jeans and T‑shirts.
What time should I arrive?
Currently the ceremony will begin at 3:30 and we advise you arrive 10 minutes early to find your seats and get settled; we also ask immediate family not involved in the wedding arrive 30 minutes early for pictures.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Of course as soon as possible, but the latest time we will accept your RSVP is August 24th 2026
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
It will be entirely indoors, aside from some wedding party photos
How will food and drinks be served?
Food will be a buffet style, we will have accommodations for gluten free and other allergies as needed.
We will have a bar with beer, wine and 2 cocktails, and our non-alcoholic options will include water, lemonade, sweet and unsweetened tea.

Will seats be assigned?
Not entirely! We will have 6 tables reserved for immediate family and the wedding party, the rest of the seats will open for individuals choosing.
How do I know if I get a Plus one?
It will be indicated on your invitation!
Can we take pictures on our own devices?
Yes we would love so see the pictures you take during the reception! We will have a QR code for you to add photos too, however we ask that we have an “unplugged” ceremony, so no photos or videos during the ceremony, thank you!
Travel and Stay
If you need to fly in, we recommend landing at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville.
Driving to and from the wedding? There is a parking lot across the street, but it tends to fill quickly, there is also a parking garage on west Harper Avenue.
Need a place to stay? There are several hotels up and down Alcoa highway that are close to family, the airport, and the venue as well as several restaurants.
