It's hard to remember Jay and Nicole not together— probably because it's been over 9 years. And before that, it was a close friendship throughout middle school and high school. After years of living just around the street from one another, they chose to take their close friendship to the next level, and begin a long distance relationship— Jay at St. Leo in Florida and Nicole at UMass Amherst.

After one year, Jay decided his Irish skin had had enough of the Florida sun, and he transferred to UMass. They spent a fun year and a half at UMass before they began their study abroad journeys— Jay in Ireland and Nicole in Italy.

The real fun came when they moved into a 500 square foot apartment together two months before everything shut down for Covid. This truly showed the couple that they could get through anything as long as they were together. They bonded over exploring their new neighborhood, cooking new meals together, watching new shows, caring for their cat Mocha and as you can imagine, they shared many many laughs (maybe making a few TikToks). They are each other's favorite person to go through any situation with.

They can not wait to celebrate their love and their future with all the people that matter the most to them!
