It all started on Valentine's Eve of 2015. Nicole was at a local Irish pub to watch a coworker's singing gig. Spencer was attending a friend's birthday party across the street at another bar. After the performance, Nicole went over to the bar Spencer was at with some friends. There was a mutual friend, Jenny Mejia, at the bar and after saying hellos to the to-be-couple, she grabbed Nicole and said "Hey! I want to introduce you to a friend of mine!" The two exchanged greetings (awkwardly given the forced interaction) and began getting to know each other. By the end of the night they were kissing, wished each other a good night and the rest was history!
