The couple went to high school together, but did not begin dating until the summer in-between their sophomore and junior years of college. On November 21, 2015, Jay proposed to Nicole in front of her favorite building on the Ole Miss campus in front of some of their closest family members and friends. Jay then walked the Walk of Champions with the Ole Miss football team before the Rebels defeated LSU 38-17. It was an absolutely perfect day.
