Where do all love stories start these days? Well online of course! Back in the winter of 2022 Josh hopped on Bumble and started swiping looking for what he hoped would be the love of his life (at least that's what he tells Nicole). He came across Nicole's profile and swiped right hoping that she would swipe right too. Nicole received an alert that she had a new match...she opened the app and saw her new match was this guy named Josh. He had pictures with his Harley and his motorcross bike...well, at least it isn't a fish picture she thought so she messaged him with the usual "Hey, how's your night going?" Josh almost instantly replied. Now in the dating world, this meant one of two things: this guy was at home with nothing to do or it was another catfish that was going to end very quickly. After some small back and forth chit chatting, they exchanged numbers and then the daily "Good morning!" "How is your day?" and "Goodnight" messages ensued. Now unfortunately for Josh, Nicole was leaving for a girl's trip in Florida and wasn't really interested in setting up a first date at the moment. Josh put his best foot forward checking in daily but ultimately, Nicole pulled the old "ghosting" move and poor Josh was left hanging in the dark. Now you're probably thinking "what happens next?" Keep reading to find out!

An Online Dating Love Story

Fast forward about 8 months to November 2022 and both Josh and Nicole are back on Bumble despite a few awful dating attempts with other people. They match once again, and Nicole falls on her sword to message Josh hoping he wouldn't remember she left him hanging in the dark back in March. News flash...he remembered! However, he didn't let that stop him from shooting his shot again. Nicole agreed to a date at Quarter Keg Pub in Charlton on a very cold December night. They met up and pulled into the lot at quiet literally the same time. Josh pulled in with this big noisey truck and Nicole's immediate thought was "thank god he doesn't drive a Prius!" Josh pulled in and says his first thought was "Oh god!" Now I'm not sure if that was because he saw Nicole's driving or just her...feel free to ask him at the wedding! The first date went great and from there you could say we were inseparable! We spent many nights together checking out new restaurants, viewing Christmas lights and getting to know each other. Josh could see the future and Nicole could too but there was one VERY important person that Nicole needed approval from....CALI! Needless to say, Cali warmed up to Josh very quickly and they are now nightly cuddle buddies. Some days, I think she likes Dad more than Mom!

A love story re-do

After lots of adventures, fun with friends, moving into our first home together and spending holidays and birthdays with both of our families, Josh knew it was time to pop the question before Nicole ghosted him again.... kidding of course! Josh went to Nicole's parents and asked for approval to marry their daughter. Without a doubt, they said yes! Now that doesn't mean they didn't give him a little hard time before the yes, but all in good fun! Josh planned to propose to Nicole at the tree farm with her whole family there. While walking the tree farm, Josh's anxiety grew and Nicole, who was clueless, wandered around for miles to find "the perfect tree." Once that was decided on, Josh dropped to one knee and asked Nicole to marry him. Without hesitation, she said YES, and Cali did too!

Now we're in the exciting and fun times of wedding planning for May 31, 2025. We are thrilled to be able to spend this day with all of our wonderful family and friends! Bring your dancing shoes and we will see you all on the dance floor!

Katie may be my cousin but has been more like the older sister I've always wanted!  We have experienced so much together from family trips, beach days and of course the sporadic nights out in Worcester or Newport.  I couldn't imagine having anyone else standing by my side on my wedding day!

Ben and I have been best friends since middle school. We are often found in the garage together, making his daughter's power wheels go faster than they should, or out on the Harley's. I couldn't say "I Do" without my best friend by my side.

Meg and I first met at Roger Williams University freshman orientation.  From there, we were inseparable and often referred to as twins for our matching outfits and hairstyles.  Through all of life's events, I couldn't say "I Do" without my "twin" by my side.

Hannah became one of my first accounting friends when I joined the Bollus Lynch team.  From there, we have enjoyed concerts, cookouts and pool days together...yes accountants do know how to have fun! Hannah is the life of the party and I know she'll bring that fun to our wedding!

Dave and I have been friends since High School and worked together back in the Lil General days.  Who would have thought we'd be where we are today! I wouldn't want to say "I Do" without another great friend like Dave next to me.

Brian may be the bride's little brother, but he has become the unofficial little brother to Josh too.  There was no debate that Brian would be a part of our special day.  We are both lucky to have a great guy like Brian stand with us in May!
