Like most modern love stories, our story began on the internet. Two kids from Maryland drawn together by a Ravens sweater and their love for Old Bay, had a fun first date consisting of a horse themed bar, rooftop mini-golf, and plenty of dancing. After that night, we both knew this was something special. But first, Kevin needed to gain the approval of Maddie (which he's still working on).
2019 marked our first full year of dating, filled with tons of adventures including football games and vacations with friends. We quickly discovered how much fun we have together. The year culminated with Nicole teaching Kevin how to overcome his fear of skiing and now Nicole has to drag Kevin off the slopes.
The year 2020 filled us all with a need to be outside. Kevin taught Nicole how to golf as we both embraced our active sides. Kevin has always been a supporter of Nicole's running and after years of cheering her on at races we found our inner maniacs and did our first race together.

As the world began to open up during 2021, so did our hearts to the newest furry addition to our family - Boh! As we all learned to readjust to society, there were lots of changes with us as well! Nicole was becoming a manager at Bloomberg and Kevin was becoming a powerpoint master in consulting. We capped off the year by heading south and watching the Ravens play in Miami.
2022 and 2023 were years of big moves. We moved in together and started our life in Northern Virginia. We rang in Kevin's 30th by vacationing in Key West. We celebrated many of our friends' engagements and weddings. We put an exclamation mark on the year enjoying record breaking snowfall while spending a week skiing in Park City, Utah with some of our closest friends.

Kevin returned to school in the fall of 2023, so we had to celebrate his birthday a little late. That Friday we went out for what Nicole thought was a birthday dinner for Kevin at one of the hottest reservations in D.C., Maydan. Despite being stuffed full of exotic dips and spreads, Kevin suggested drinks at The Gibson, a back alley speakeasy around the corner. Little did Nicole know, Kevin would be asking her to marry him with all of our closest friends around.
