Jesse and Nicole’s journey began in the spring of 2023, thanks to a mutual friend who played Cupid at an Easter gathering. While Nicole was enjoying the party, the friend excitedly declared, “I have someone you HAVE to meet!” Nicole, skeptical as ever, rolled her eyes and thought, “Yeah, okay, sure.”

An hour later, Jesse walked through the door, and Nicole, wasting no time, handed him a shot of tequila—his first shot of tequila ever! (Clearly, she knew how to make an impression.) From there, the two ended up talking on the back porch for hours—so long that they were the last ones at the party.

Their first date was straight out of a rom-com: dinner at a restaurant on the beach, followed by a long hand-in-hand walk along the shore. A few months later, they introduced their kids, and the families clicked like they’d known each other forever.

Fast forward to July 13th, 2024, during their first family photo session on the beach. With the waves rolling in and their kids gathered around, Jesse got down on one knee and said, “Before we take this family photo, let’s make this official,” turning their beautiful bond into a forever family.

From the start, Jesse and Nicole discovered they had so much in common—so much that they often teased each other, saying, “Stop copying me!” Whether it’s loving the same foods, outdoor adventures, or hobbies, they make every moment together more fun. Their shared passions include canoeing at the springs, playing darts, traveling, bonfires, and, of course, indulging in their mutual love of spicy food and tequila.
