Thursday is an open night to plan as you like but you will find us at our favorite local pizzeria, Ristorante da Genio, in Polcenigo (Via Polcenigo, 6).

Venice Marco Polo (VCE) is the nearest airport and is a 50 minute drive to Castello d'Aviano.

If you are interested in exploring Aviano or the surrounding area, we recommend renting a car. Economy Rent (http://www.economyrent.it/) is conveniently located near the center of Aviano. Alternatively, you can rent a car at the airport (if you are flying into Venice), or at the Venezia Mestre train station (if you are coming via train). Both Venice Airport and Venezia Mestre train station are pick-up/drop-off locations of major car rental companies, such as Hertz.

Yes, you can make a reservation with Trenitalia (https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html) with Sacile as your final destination. The Sacile train station is then a 15 minute drive away from Castello d'Aviano.

Thursday evening there will be a dinner at our local Pizzeria, Da Genios. The dress code is casual. Friday evening there will be a Welcome Aperitivo at our house followed by a Welcome Dinner and Party at our Golf Club. The dress code is casual cocktail attire. Ladies, think summer evening dresses, two piece sets, jumpsuits, etc. Men, think a button up with Khakis/Trousers/Nicer Jeans (no holes), jacket optional Saturday morning there will be a ladies only Prosecco & Pastries breakfast at our house. The dress code is casual sun dresses or shorts. Saturday evening at 5PM we will meet in front of Villa Policreti for the ceremony (ceremony starts at 5:30), followed directly after by an aperitivo, dinner, and dancing. The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies, think cocktail dresses of any length in summery colors / florals (pinks, blues, yellows, greens, oranges, etc.) Men, think a two piece suit, tie optional Sunday we will host a pool party and BBQ. The dress code is swimwear and cover ups. (Towels will be provided.) Come at your leisure as of 11AM, we will be there throughout the duration of the day.
