There is a lot of construction, but detours are marked.When you enter the park you can just tell them you are here for the wedding and you won't have to pay.Follow the road until you hit the parking lot and everything will be in that area .

Our Wedding

All it took was one date for us to become inseparable. We had an immediate connection that has continued to strengthen our bond. We keep each other happy, goofy, honest and loving. Who would've thought the modern world of dating websites could actually lead to life-long best friends? For us, it has. After over 2 years of mutual infatuation, Mike proposed to an unsuspecting Nicole. It was a brisk Sunday morning while cozying up on their beach hammock watching the sun peak above the horizon. Sharing our adoration for each other with you, who are reading this, has and will continue to be our honor/pleasure. We are ready and excited for our present, past and future together and hope that we can positively influence your lives the way we have influenced each other's. We will see you August 20th of 2023!

Journey

Katie and I met in high school-the only girls in German class.  Odd pairing, but she made high school a blast! She’s a great friend and has always been there for me when I needed it.  One of the more hard working people I know, a great mom and I couldn’t imagine anyone else as my maid of honor (although I’m a little worried about her speech 🤔)

Katie

Tom is a driven individual who has worked his way from promoting our music projects on myspace (yes, the myspace days) to becoming a talent manager for some very successful artists.
Who I am today has been heavily influenced by the result of our friendship. Tom has always been the person I can count on in any situation. He's taught me a lot in humility and being a consistently solid dude.
I have always known Tom would be the man to stand at my side in support of my forever commitment to my soon to be wife.

Tom Carrillo

Michelle brings such a good vibe to any gathering and you always leave feeling better when we hang out.  I secretly give her credit for Michael and I meeting too.  She gave me a Reiki session the day we met, and I felt so good after that it gave me the push to go on a first date with him.  So excited to have her as part of the celebration years later :)

Michelle

Bird enthusiast, music connoisseur and all-around rad dude. His company always includes positive energy and stimulating conversation. A huge part of our relationship from the start and will be going forward! (Especially since he lives 60 feet from us for the foreseeable future)

Nick Doty

Michael's younger sister.  It's been so much fun getting to know her and it is an honor to have her be a bridesmaid.  Michael lived with her and her husband in Bay View when we first met.  They were so welcoming, and we have been enjoying hanging out ever since.

Kaylen

A calm, collected, genuine dude who goes after what sparks his interests. He's taught me a lot about climbing and outdoor lifestyle, even leading me on my first and only (as of now) Multi-pitch climbing experience in Utah! A simultaneously terrifying and electrifying experience. He's my brother in-law  and great friend.

Zach Mathe

Michael's older sister.  I can't wait to call her and Kaylen my sisters!  I remember how nervous I was when Michael and I first met (protective like I am of my brother) - but then Michael let me know she snuck him a thumbs and I was ecstatic.  Always so much fun hanging out and looking forward to many weekends up north.

Nikki

Never a dull moment with this guy. He's always the life of the room and our friendship has been filled with adventure. A true example of someone who lives in the moment. Our friendship started with us getting into shenanigans as skateboard punks into shenanigans as bandmates.

Jack Sajdowitz

Sean is a good friend of Nicole's.  Him and his wife Nicki (whom Nicole talks to daily!), will be traveling all the way from Texas.  Mike got to meet them when we went to Galveston 2 years ago.  They have been married for 8 years and he just graduated with a masters in nursing.  It will also be his birthday a few days after the wedding, so be sure to wish him an early birthday!

Wedding Party

The ceremony will be taking place at the outdoor Ravine Deck. We will have plenty of seating on the deck and then room to stand on the grass if you prefer. The ceremony will be 15 - 20 minutes long and starting right at 5:00. Please try to arrive 30 minute early ** construction in the area is crazy right now as wellRestrooms and water will be available near the ceremony area. We are requesting no phones during the ceremony portion, experiences are so much better in person and not looking through your phone. Photos taken by the photographer will be shared.

Cocktail hour will take place just up a trail from the ceremony on the Veranda if it is nice outside. We will have a variety of beers, wine, liquors and nonalcoholic beverages. Listen to music, converse and enjoy the beautiful summer day!  Featured mocktails: shirley temple

The reception is happening in the Great Hall - all parts of the day taking place within walking distance of each other. Around 6:30 we will ask the guests to start finding their seats. The wedding party and happy couple will get introduced at 7:00. Dinner shortly after and then an evening of music, dancing and fun until 11:00.

Smoking rules

If you need to smoke the facility requires you to use their cigarette receptacle on the north end of the veranda only - please do not leave cigarette butts anywhere on the beautiful earth or property. Obviously, there is no smoking indoors – no exceptions.&nbsp;Also no pipes, cigars or shots of alcohol are allowed at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.&nbsp;If the facilities team has to pick up cigarette butts around the property the morning after we will be fined. &nbsp;

There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well if you plan to stay at a hotel that night - a morning brunch close by would be perfect

Camping at Kohler Andrea is about 45 minutes North. Awesome park and beach hiking!
