We met in January 2015 at a fraternity/sorority conference through UW - Whitewater. Bryan was a freshman recently elected to his fraternity's executive board, and I was serving as co-recruitment chair for the panhellenic council. We hung out as part of a larger group—going out to eat and exploring the city, but we didn't get to know each other that well until we got stuck in a snowstorm on the bus ride back from Indianapolis.

Bryan asked me to get coffee for our first date, but I responded that I didn't like coffee and I made him sweat over the text for a while before suggesting smoothies. So, for our first date, we enjoyed smoothies from the university center on campus. Shortly after, for our second date, we ventured off campus to the local Italian restaurant in Whitewater. We started dating officially on February 22, 2015. Throughout college, we had a lot of fun together going to events on campus, going to formals, and hanging out with our friends (and studying, of course).

Since college, we have had many brunch dates, attended countless sporting events, taken some amazing vacations, and of course, many trips to Door County. We moved in together in March 2020 and adopted our dog Falkor shortly after. We got engaged on July 16, 2021.

We can't wait to celebrate with you in our favorite place on October 7th, 2023!
