It all started with a simple first date in Birmingham, Alabama, at a Mexican restaurant. We thought it was just a fun way to spend a day, but little did we know it was the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime! We had an undeniable spark as we sat across from each other, sharing our stories. Conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter filled the air, and we both knew something special was blooming. It felt like we had known each other for years, almost like two best friends catching up after time apart.

From that day forward, our connection has only grown stronger. After months of laughter, love, lengthy phone calls, driving back and forth between cities, and praying about our future together, the time came to take our relationship to the next level. After securing blessings from Cole's dad, Joshua arranged the surprise proposal for Sunday afternoon, February 17th. It was a cold, blustery day outside. Surrounded by friends and family, Joshua got down on one knee and popped the questions -- and Cole said YES!

As we look back on our journey from that first date to where we are now, it truly is incredible to see God and his amazing plan unfolding before us! Without Him, our paths would not have crossed, and we would not be here today, preparing for a wedding to embark on our adventure of marriage.
