Tony and Nicole met in a rather unexpected way. Nicole had just moved to Chicago, IL from Lubbock, TX and had a girlfriend in town (Caitlin, MOH) for July 4th weekend. Of course, Nicole wanted to explore Chicago, and decided to go out to a few local bars with a good friend in tow. As soon as Nicole and Caitlin walked into the bar, an extremely tall (and good looking I might add) boy came up and struck up a conversation with us! Nicole and Tony hit it off, and talked the whole night. If it wasn't for Caitlin, Tony and Nicole may not have started dating as she was instrumental in ensuring the two realized just how good they were together after just a short conversation! The following week, Tony and Nicole went out on a date to Bub City, the only country bar in Chicago for karaoke and for frozen yogurt....The rest was history!

Tony and Nicole got engaged over Martin Luther King weekend during a ski trip they had planned to Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado. Tony had been working in Denver, CO for a little over 2 months for a big work project, and so they decided to take advantage! After a long day of skiing, Tony suggested that they go grab drinks before a dinner he had planned at a 5 Star Fondue Restaurant on the top of the mountain. The fun part about the restaurant was that it was only accessible via gondola (for those that don't know what a gondola is, it is that big covered ski lift that people use to get up a mountain). Tony had seemed nervous or different all day, so Nicole thought something was up but had no idea what that trip up the gondola would entail! As soon as they both got on the gondola, they were handed blanket and had the gondola all to ourselves. Overlooking the mountains, they made their way up the 8.5 min trip to the restaurant. Shortly after getting into the gondola, Tony proposed! As soon as we got to the top, we were given champagne and treated by multiple friendly couples in the restaurant and began our celebrating!
