Our Wedding

In early December, 2020 we matched on Bumble and it felt like Christmas came early for us! Yes, we know what you are thinking. What a lame way to meet! But, in this day and age it did not feel weird for us. In fact, it soon felt as though we had known each other for a very long time! Despite us living two hours away from each other, we both put forward a huge effort to make the relationship work from the start. Nicole quickly got over Cole's need to watch countless hours of football in exchange for Cole not complaining about Nicole taking over the bathroom counter space and shedding hair everywhere. Cole surprised Nicole by booking a romantic getaway at an Airbnb in Bancroft. We decided to go on a hike on the second day and found a beautiful waterfall. Cole was determined to take a photo of us in front of it by propping up his phone in the snow. Little to Nicole's knowledge, Cole was actually capturing a video of his beautiful marriage proposal. How could Nicole not accept to spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams!

Jessica joined Nicole's family in 2013. Nicole's brother, Tyler, may have found Jessica as his partner but Nicole soon developed a close friendship and sisterhood with her. Jessica has always been there for Nicole through thick and thin. You can often find them trying out the latest Starbucks drinks or discussing fashion/gift ideas for Harper (flower girl).

Jessica

Cole and Eric met in 2013 when they got hired together with the Halton Regional Police Service. They immediately hit it off and became best friends, easily choosing each other in the best man role for their weddings. Many people have said that Cole and Eric are so similar that they are like the same person!

Eric A.

Nicole and Becky were friends in kindergarten when Becky sadly moved and they lost touch. To their surprise, they were able to rekindle their friendship in high school.  They quickly became best friends and would hang out all the time.  Nicole and Becky have a goal to one day go on a yoga or meditation retreat together. Nicole can always turn to Becky for sound advice and support. 

Becky

Grant is Cole's oldest brother. They have played soccer together since 2009 and Cole argues that he is the better soccer player. They also enjoy golfing together in their free time. As well, Cole and Grant share a love for everything football related. When it comes to gambling on football, Grant often has the luckier picks.  

Grant

Nicole and Karolina met in grade 2 when they realized they lived on the same street. They enjoy going shopping, spending time in Toronto together and hitting up sushi restaurants. This past summer, Nicole was a bridesmaid in Karolina's wedding. Now Nicole can turn to Karolina for wedding advice and all things wedding planning.

Karolina

Eric is Cole's older brother. They share an interest in video games which they routinely played when they were children. Eric was always the brother that Cole would go to if he had a problem that needed solving. Eric also paved the way for Cole's interest in tattoos.

Nicole met Trinity when they worked at Bulk Barn in 2012. Their friendship blossomed very quickly and they became best friends. Trinity gives Nicole great advice and captured most of her pictures for Instagram.  Nicole is a bridesmaid in Trinity's wedding which is 3 weeks before Nicole's. They have  enjoyed sharing their ideas and excitement around wedding planning!

Trinity

Tyler is Nicole's older brother and one of her best friends. Nicole often seeks advice from him about many different topics. Tyler welcomed Cole into the family very quickly. He also initiated Cole into the ATV world. Every time we have family game nights, Tyler always recommends Catan because he knows he will win every time. 

Tyler

Nicole met Candace in 2012 in college. Candace throws the best parties and is known for her awesome Halloween parties. Candace always manages to make Nicole laugh and anyone else around her. If you need a new Starbucks drink recommendation Candace is your go to girl!

Candace

Cole met Ryan in 2001 while playing on the same soccer team. They later went to high school together. They bonded through their love of modern rock music and their interest in sports, specifically soccer, football and basketball. Ryan is always the life of the party!

Nicole and Tiffany met in college in 2012. They share a love for pickles and ceasars.  When Nicole and Tiffany graduated college, Tiffany joined Nicole's family on their trip to Cuba so that they could celebrate their achievement together.

Tiffany

Cole has known Dave since 2005 when they met in high school and instantly hit it off. To this day, they still enjoy golfing together, grabbing Starbucks and shooting their firearms at a gun range. Dave is known for being extremely helpful. 

Dave

Harper is Nicole and Cole's niece and is the cutest flower girl ever! Harper is Tyler and Jessica's daughter. She is the happiest little girl ever and everyone just adores her because she is always smiling and laughing.

Rex is Cole and Nicole's nephew and is the coolest ring bearer ever! Rex is Eric R's son. We dare you to challenge him to a game of Nintendo Switch. You WILL lose.
