Our Wedding

Our story began on an ordinary night at the bar where I worked. It was a busy shift, and I wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary—until Jared walked in with one of our mutual friends, Emily. Little did I know then, but Emily would soon become one of my bridesmaids and, that night, my unofficial matchmaker. She introduced us briefly, and, immediately catching Jared’s interest, she didn’t waste any time. Emily took on the role of wingwoman like a pro, weaving a plan to make sure we’d meet up again later.Once my shift ended, we followed through with Emily’s “plan.” She invited me to join them at another bar nearby, and I had no clue what was actually in the works! I just thought we were heading out to play some pool or shoot a few rounds of darts, but it quickly became clear that this was more than a casual get-together. When Jared and I started talking, it was as if we’d known each other forever. Conversations flowed effortlessly, and we discovered an immediate connection that neither of us could ignore. From that night on, we felt a spark that seemed meant to be.As time passed, we got to know each other better, and each moment only deepened our bond. On one of our early dates, I spotted a small, well-worn pocket Bible in Jared’s car. For some, it might seem like just a detail, but to me, it was a sign—a whisper that maybe God was watching over us, guiding us toward each other. Seeing that Bible made me feel like there was something special, even sacred, in our relationship. It was as if our paths had been intentionally aligned, and we both sensed that this wasn’t just a coincidence.As we continued dating, our relationship blossomed. We weren’t just growing closer; we were growing together, sharing a deep desire to pursue our faith as a couple. It’s become our foundation, a common goal that has brought us even closer. Each day feels like a new chapter in a story we’re writing hand in hand, both with each other and with God’s guidance. Knowing that we are walking this journey with Him gives us the peace and joy to face whatever life brings, and we’re filled with excitement and gratitude for all the adventures that lie ahead.We know this next chapter—marriage—is part of God’s plan for us, and we can’t wait to see what blessings and challenges await. Holding each other close, we’re ready for the journey, knowing we’re both part of something truly special.
