LIKE MOST GREAT LOVE STORIES, OURS BEGINS IN A BAR. On September 14, 2012, Drew laid eyes on Nicole at City Bar in Baton Rouge, LA. It took a lot of convincing, but Nicole finally agreed to go on a date with Drew. Many dinners and several drinks later,
 Nicole flew to France to visit Drew during one of his semesters in&nbsp;Lyon. They took a quick trip to Paris and spent the day getting lost in the city, drinking wine, and eating mussels. When they got to the Pont d'Arcole bridge, Drew put a lock
 on it and told Nicole he wanted to be Facebook official.

How We Met

THIS LOVE STORY IS OUR FAVORITE. On March 3, 2016, Drew &amp; Nicole got on a red eye flight to New York City to meet her family for vacation. Their flight was delayed an hour due to one of the electrical generators failing (apparently that's important),
 and Drew happily accepted the free drink offer from the pilot (apparently someone was nervous). They checked in to their hotel in Times Square and left to meet the family for oysters at Central Station. After turning around a few times, and dodging
 our clandestine photographer, Rebekah, the scene was set, and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/drewbivona/posts/10206013008391802">Drew proposed</a>!

Jessica has been friends with Nicole since high school. She is also responsible for drafting all text messages, tweets, and witty Facebook posts for Nicole the entire first year that she knew Drew. If it weren't for her, Drew would have ran away to France or something... oh wait.

Paige has been friends with Drew since law school. They still don't know the exact moment they met, but we're certain that it's a good story. Either way, Paige has been making sure that Drew doesn't screw this one up from the beginning.

Jessica and Nicole first met during Mardi Gras 1996, where they joined forces and rode in the van instead of marching in the parade. The&nbsp;universe was not ready for their combined greatness&nbsp;until they reunited in high school&nbsp;and later became
college roommates.&nbsp;

Rob is one of the first guys to make fun of Drew at law school. Since that first hazing, they've ran off the side of a mountain in Switzerland, relaxed in the Keys, and invested heavily in alcohol.

Many years have passed since they first listened to Lil Wayne's The Carter in Drew's Civic, but it seems like it happened just yesterday. It's a well known fact that Scott and Drew are expert muffuletta craftsmen, and their hands can withstand the heat of the most ferocious cheese-melter.

Kathryn and Nicole have been friends since they were 5 years old and have shared many hilarious memories ever since. As fate would have it, Kathryn went to law school with Drew, and took on the job of convincing Nicole that a single dude having two cats was normal.

Annie and Nicole have been friends since high school.  They later became college roommates, where they solved all of life's problems while sitting on their bathroom floor because they were too hungover to move any further than that.

A music festival during a hurricane. A CX-5 stuck in the mud for hours . Music is adventure and music is how Drew and Matt met. From the Talking Heads to Rebirth Brass Band, the shows don't stop and neither does the fun. #bromance

Lilah is Drew's niece.  She's been practicing for her leading role as Flower Girl since September 2016, and we can't wait to see her steal the show at the wedding!

Drew found Sultan on AirBnB when he was looking for a place to live in France.  He got the key from the grocery store across the street, hiked up the stone steps, and met his best friend.  Soon after Drew left France, Sultan came to the US for the first time and ended up with Drew at Mardi Gras. Although Sultan is unable to be present for the wedding, he will be there in spirit.&nbsp;

Of course, no trip to New Orleans is complete without stopping at Café Du Monde for some beignets and a café au lait! When you're ready to walk off the sugar rush, go through the nearby French Market to shop local vendors, get a caricature, and grab your next sweet treat from the Organic Banana.

Arguably the city's most historic bar, the Blacksmith, dates to 1772. This is also where Nicole and Drew were supposed to meet during Mardi Gras 2013. Nicole thought Drew ditched her, but it turns out she was at the wrong one. Long story short, she still has never been to this bar, but Drew swears it is one of the best. We'll take his word for it.

Skip Bourbon and head to Frenchmen Street instead! Grab a bite to eat at our favorite little (we're not kidding when we say little) Italian place, Adolfo's. And, make sure you catch some live music at the Spotted Cat and Blue Nile.
