It all started during a snowstorm in January 2019. Both of us were supposed to be playing in an indoor softball tournament. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well and did not participate in the tournament. However, that did not stop me from sliding into her DMs. I noticed we had some mutual friends in common and decided to "shoot my shot". What started with a simple message would turn into a night of conversation and a first date shortly after. First date was getting drinks at Starbucks and things quickly escalated from there. Within a few weeks we were full speed ahead and our relationship has continued to grow through the years. Fast forward 4 years and I decided to pop the question! I decided to ask her to marry me on February 14th which is the date of both of our softball numbers (my number is 2, and her number is 14). Softball brought us together so it was only fitting to tie it into our engagement. The rest is history!! We can't wait to celebrate our special day with family and friends.
