The closest airport to Varenna is Milan Linate Airport (LIN) or Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). We recommend taking a direct train from Milano Centrale station (approximately 1 hour) or Milano Porta Garibaldi Station to Varenna- Esino-Perledo Station (approximately 1.5 hours). Varenna Esino Station is a 13 minute walk from Villa Cipressi, however, there will be a shuttle available from the station to Villa Cipressi upon your arrival!

If you are flying into Milan-Malpensa Airport, you can either take a direct bus, train, or taxi that can take you from the airport to Milano Centrale station. If you are flying into Milan Linate Airport, there is a direct bus option or a taxi ride if you prefer. The temperatures in Varenna in September range from mid-70's during the day, low-60's at night. Rehearsal dinner will be cocktail attire, ceremony & reception will be black tie. Ladies, we recommend having a shawl or light wrap for the ceremony & reception. Men, in the event you don't own a tuxedo, a dark-colored suit is perfectly fine.
